Residential Outdoor Burning Burn Ban – Effective May 15, 2024 at 9:00 pm

Residential outdoor burning (i.e., burning yard debris) is not permitted between 9:00 PM on May 15th and 8:00 AM on October 15th, 2024.* All previously issued burn permits are now expired, and all permit applications received during this ban will remain in “Waiting for Approval” status until it is lifted.

This policy is in place regardless of Pierce County burn ban status. Individuals residing in Graham Fire & Rescue’s District must adhere to District and County burning regulations.

*Recreational Burning Exemption: Recreational (less than 3′ x 3′ x 2H) cooking fires, campfires, and bonfires using charcoal or seasoned firewood that occur in designated areas or on private property for food preparation, pleasure, or ceremonial purposes are not included in this notice. Recreational fires do not require a permit.
