2023 Benefit Charge Public Hearing

Pierce County Fire Protection District No. 21, dba Graham Fire & Rescue, will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, commencing at 6:00 PM (PST). The public hearing will be held in-person at Station 94, 23014 70th AVE E, Graham WA 98338. An option to attend virtually via Zoom also available. The public is invited to attend and testify.

The purpose of the hearing will be to review and establish the district’s benefit charges for calendar year 2023. The governing board of the district, the Board of Fire Commissioners, will be considering adoption of a Resolution to fix and impose the benefit charges on real property and improvements thereon, throughout the district. The resolution and hearing record will be filed with the Pierce County Assessor-Treasurer prior to November 30, 2022. After the benefit charges have been so established, the owners of property subject to the benefit charges shall be provided with information related to the benefit charge. Property owners will have the right to appeal their particular benefit charge on their property.
